Begley Wireless noticed an industry need and has decided to add an UAV partner (BirdsEyeImagery) to our toolbox. BirdsEyeImagery will assist in our ability to provide a turn key service to our clients.
Inspections:
Begley Wireless is adapting to your needs! We are now using drones to make regular, routine inspections of cell phone towers, water tanks, rooftops, and more. These easy inspections help our clients avoid major and expensive repairs. Our Birds Eye can capture high quality HD photos at any angle of the structure quickly and cost effective. This allows us to get a 360 degree image of the status of the tower so that we can provide an accurate assessment to our clients. Services to include pre and post inspection, as-built photos, site design, bird studies, or a custom service depending on the needs our our client.
Safety:
Safely accessing structures can be a concern. Begley Wireless is avoiding safety hazards by using small, easily maneuverable drones. These drones capture HD photos at any angle of a structure quickly, safely and cost effectively at ground level.
Emergency Situations:
In the event of a natural disaster a UAV can help get a glimpse into conditions at difficult-to-reach locations so our clients can move faster to restore service and repair damaged equipment.
Speed:
By transmitting high resolution live videos or still images, we can immediately show our clients any suggestions or issues that may arise without them having to step one foot into the field! This allows our clients to make urgent decisions regarding maintenance without any delay. Data can be stored and compared with each drone inspection which can be helpful with maintenance scheduling and budgeting.
Bird Issues:
Standard inspections of a structure could take up to a week and often require the assistance of an environmental scientist to determine. With a drone we are able to get a good visual without disturbing the nest and make a determination quickly.
Our Pilot:
BirdsEyeImaging, uses a DJI quadcopter and can both record and livestream HD video and photographs directly from location. Our pilot is FAA Part 107 Certified, licensed and insured.
The Future:
We are in the process of adding a second and third UAV to include FLIR “Thermal” Imaging and Video for specialty inspections. Also if the need arises we would also be able to aid in Search and Rescue missions.
